- You are thinking about fluorescents from 15 years ago. New electronic ballasts do not strobe or buzz. Fluorescents are now available in a multitude of color temperatures.

- This is a little skewed. LEDs still have: Color problems Meantime to failure issues - 50,000 hours means after 50,000 hours no more than 25% of them will be burned out - that means one in your cluster of 10 could burn out on week 2. But it wouldn't be considered a dent in the 50,000 hours.

- To me, the biggest problem with Zune is the ridiculous deal Microsoft signed with Universal Music Group. UMG gets a few bucks for every Zune sold. In the words of their CEO - these devices are just for music pirates so it's time to start getting paid for it.

- While apple may have a 4-5% market share in all personal computers - they have a whopping 12% share when it comes to notebooks. So they do in fact sell A LOT of notebooks.
